How long is the program?

The EPS program is two years in duration. By default students spend the entire program at Milan but can apply (during the first year of EPS studies) to spend the second year abroad, completing a Double Degree.

Can I study part-time?

No, the EPS program is for full-time, very demanding. We discourage a part-time attendance.

How many applications do you receive each year? How many are accepted?

We receive over 250 applications per year. We accept up to 50 students per year.

What do EPS graduates do?

EPS graduates work in global businesses, international organization, government agencies. Some others pursue an academic career doing doctoral research in prestigious universities or in eminent research centers. Please see the Careers & Placement for recent graduate destinations.

How much does the program cost?

The annual fees vary from a minimum of 156 Euros to a maximum of 3.900 Euros to be paid in two instalments:
• the first, of 156 Euros, is the same for all students and must be paid by the date of enrollment (October 2018);
• the second, which varies according to the student’s family economic situation, must be paid by December 2019.

Do you offer any scholarship?

The University of Milan offer several scholarships. Please visit the Scholarship section and other financial support.

What are the application deadlines?

For the Academic year 2018/2019:
September 1st, 2018 for italian applicants and EU-citizens
June 30th, 2018 for International applicants who are non-EU citizens.

How do I apply to the EPS program?

What is your GRE/GMAT policy?

A GRE or GMAT is considered as an added value. Please find more here

Do I need to have my foreign documents translated?

Yes, all transcripts and recommendations must be in Italian or English. The Diploma must be translated and authenticated by the Italian Embassy in your country. You also need to ask for the Declaration of Value of your Diploma. See more

Do you accept transfer students?

We do not accept transfer students during the academic year. If you want to move from your University to EPS, you must follow the application procedures. If you’ll be admitted, you’ll start as a first-year student. Nevertheless, your previous exams may be recognised as EPS exams.

What should I do after I submit my application?

Once you have submitted your application, the EPS Secretariat will be in contact with you to let you know if you’ll be invited for an interview via Skype or not. Please allow at least 2 weeks for us to reach a decision and contact you.

How can I apply for the Double Degree in Louvain?

May I know if I am sufficiently prepared before I apply?

Unfortunately, the EPS Secretariat cannot tell whether or not a student is sufficiently prepared prior to a review of his or her application. You can check the entry requirements and read the information available at this page.

Can I apply for a PhD program after EPS?

Yes, the EPS program provides a solid basis for progression to doctoral work in policy analysis and research. Some of EPS graduates have pursued a PhD program in prestigious international

Are there any special application requirements for non-EU applicants?

Yes, non-EU applicants must submit a pre-application at the Italian Embassy of their country of origin by June 2017. Please find more info here.

Do international applicants have to pass any Italian test?

No, there is no any mandatory Italian test to pass.
